Yesterday we had our visit to the doctor and once again she is "doing great!" She is now weighing in at a whopping 12 pounds 9 ounces (30%) and is 24 1/4 inches tall (40%). Her noggin is still in the 90th percentile proving we have a brainy one ;)
This time we got out of there with only 2 shots, which didn't lessen the tears, but hopefully was a little less traumatic. Thank goodness for really fast lab techs!
We have also been given the green light to introduce solids whenever we are ready. He said there is no pressure or need to start right now, but if she starts showing signs of wanting to share our meals with us that would be ok. Watch out Dad! The competition is coming! We are saving our 1st ice cream experience for when we can go see Uncle Dave and his ladies so she can get the good stuff first! Will save the Ben and Jerry's tour until she gets a bit older, maybe next summer :)
