Renee and Mommy made the long flight from Seattle to Burlington and Renee was a super flyer! She slept most of the way and even stayed calm as the little plane into Burlington bounced its way in. We got to see so many people and play "Pass the baby". Our apologies to all of you who got yelled at by the little one with the loud voice!
Renee made her first visit to Happy Acres and slept soundly in the warmth of the sugar house with the sweet smells of boiling sap all around her. It was a beautiful sunny day with promises of Spring to come even though there was still a thick cover of snow about. 
The week flew by too quickly and we made it safely home to a very happy to see his baby again Daddy! Mom eventually got a kiss too :)
Renee had her 2 month doctor's appointment the day after we got home. She is now 10 pounds 4 ounces (30 percentile) and 22 1/4" tall (40 percentile) meaning she is on the petite size so far. The doctor was very pleased with how she is doing so far and all was well. Then came the lady with the shots. Luckily she was fast. Renee was just getting mad at the first sting and she was already finished with the other two! Thank goodness!
Between the jet lag and her shots, Renee and Mommy spent most of the next two days laying low and snuggling on the couch. We are readjusting to being at home with fewer people to hold on to her. Thank goodness Grandma and Grandpa Rodney could come for Sunday brunch and baby time!
